OUR MACHINERY

Besides 40 injection moulding machines, including several bi injection moulding machines, and 35 Kawasaki (5- and 6-axis) robots, we have our own mould engineering department, a paint shop and an assembly/distribution department. We operate with a workforce of 100, according to a 5-shift schedule, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our client base comprises prominent national and international brands and medium-sized clients. Given our wide range of standard solutions and innovative tailor-made products, we are The Creative Inventor for everyone. Aarts Packaging is certified in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard.

Per February 2023 Aarts Packaging is part of TriMas.

We have the capabilities to think along with you on the design of the product. Depending on your requirements, we can also cooperate with one of our partners/suppliers.
CAN YOU ALSO CARRY OUT 2K INJECTION MOULDING?
Yes, we have several 2K injection moulding machines and a wealth of experience in applying the 2K injection moulding technique.
WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
We process various types of plastics and auxiliary materials, such as the following: Surlyn, ABS, Polystyrene, SAN, bio-based, PP, (post-consumer) recycled, TPE, laser additive, Barium, Zamac, medical grades, mother of pearl pigments, bio-degradable, high-density and many others. If you have specific requirements, please contact us so that we can jointly establish whether we can also process the materials you require.
HOW DO YOU COLOUR YOUR PRODUCTS?
Our plastic products are coloured with Masterbatch. This is a plastic granulate with a high concentration of dye.

We add a few percent of this Masterbatch to the basic raw material (which is usually transparent or milky). The exceptional feature of the Masterbatches used at Aarts Packaging is that we have the knowledge and equipment to make these Masterbatches ourselves. If we do not make the Masterbatch ourselves, however, we use our knowledge of this process to achieve the best result together with our external suppliers. Depending on the nature of your project, we (jointly) decide whether to purchase the Masterbatch externally or make it ourselves. In addition to coloured plastic products, we can supply you with metallized and galvanized products.
CAN YOU ALSO CARRY OUT THE DECORATION?
Yes. Aarts Packaging can supply you with a fully completed, decorated and assembled product. We often carry out decoration ourselves.
HOW CAN I REQUEST A QUOTE?
Requests for quotations should be submitted to info.aartspackaging@trimas.com. As quotations are (almost) always customised, we kindly request that you clearly state your contact details so that one of our project managers can contact you personally.
WHAT IS THE DELIVERY PERIOD FOR A TEST OR PRODUCTION MOULD?
The delivery period for a mould depends very much on both the product itself and the purpose of the products to be made with the mould. We have our own mould workshop and considerable experience in producing test moulds. Let’s discuss your idea and see what’s possible.
WHAT IS THE DELIVERY PERIOD FOR YOUR PRODUCTS?
While the delivery period is usually a few weeks, it depends very much on your product. A product with post-processing and/or assembly will generally call for require a longer delivery period. When you submit your request for a quotation, we can agree on the required delivery period together. Delivery periods of 4-8 weeks are possible, while complex products generally take longer.
DOES AARTS PACKAGING COMPLY WITH FOOD SAFETY REGULATIONS?
Yes, we can manufacture in accordance with both European and American food safety regulations.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS COMPLY WITH EUROPEAN LEGISLATION?
Our products comply with European legislation. In the case of food contact materials, we manufacture according to the customer’s material specifications. We can support customers in performing a migration study, or we can complete the compliance formalities for you if you prefer.
WHAT QUALITY SYSTEMS DO YOU APPLY?
Aarts Packaging is certified in accordance with the ISO 9001-2015 standard
DO YOU ALSO SUPPLY GLASS?
No. We do not supply glass. Depending on the product, however, we can of course think along with you about replacing glass with plastic. We have several examples of the successful use of plastic, whereas glass initially appeared to be the only option.
WHERE DOES PRODUCTION TAKE PLACE?
Production takes place in Waalwijk, the Netherlands (in the same building as our offices and showroom). Our products really are Made in the Netherlands. Waalwijk is situated between the cities of Den Bosch, Tilburg and Breda, in the south of the Netherlands. Our 10,500m² site is just a stone’s throw from the motorway, and therefore readily accessible.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY FOR YOUR STANDARD SERIES OF TUBS?
The minimum order quantity is a full pallet load. If you wish to order fewer products, however, then we would be pleased to introduce you to one of our distributors.

CONFIDENCE AND FULFILLING PLEDGES

Greater effort is called for in serving large national and international clients. It relies on 100% mutual trust, fulfilling one’s pledges, but also being honest when something is not possible. Although we are not the kind to readily accept that something is impossible. After all, the considerable challenges of producing complex, high quality plastic products and packaging are the ones that we relish most!

Aarts Packaging is a member of the Dutch Rubber and Plastics Industry Federation (NRK), whose collective labour agreement terms we also apply. Further more, Aarts Packaging is a Kenteq accredited training company, which offers trainee shipopportunities at preparatory, intermediate and higher vocational levels (VMBO, MBO and HBO).
